MUSIC LESSONS

My mission is to work with budding (young or old) flute and piano players and help them build their self-esteem while also improving their craft. I not only want to teach them how to play their instrument through utilizing standard technical exercises, excerpts, and solo pieces, but also get them in a habit of positive self-talk so that they can feel their best and play their best! I believe that everyone deserves to be celebrated for who they are and with an increasingly media-driven society it is easy to get swept up in the comparison trap. I want to help my students build their confidence and remember that they are whole just the way they are so they can discover and share their voices with the world. I do this through supporting them in areas other than just their daily practice such as in wellness, self-care, and anxiety coping mechanisms, in order to help them strengthen their self-confidence and grow as people as well as performers.

I am accepting new students into my private flute and piano studio located in Hadley, MA!
